In 1946, Antonio died, and the company's management was handed over to his sons Lino & Guido. Their industrial expertise helped transform a local manufacturing company into a global company.
Zanussi expanded into professional kitchen appliances in the 1970s when it purchased F. Zoppas SpA, which allowed them entry to the market for large cooktops that could be used with all gas types. In 1984, the Swedish manufacturer Electrolux acquired Zanussi which strengthened their position in Southern Europe and Northern Europe for both professional and domestic kitchen appliances.
